Powerful Presidency

President Elect, Barrack Obama is set to be the most powerful president the US has ever seen.

No I'm not talking about the return of the black supremacy of the era ancient Kemit. Forget for a second that he happens to be black.

Neither am I talking about the fact that he has been able to muster up grass roots support not seen since the Civil Rights Movement.

I'm speaking about his commitment to maximize web 2.0 communications to interact with all of his publics.

In an article carried by the Washington Post, this Web 2.0 strategy is said to be Obama's attempt "to turn the massive grassroots army he built during the primary season into a potent policy-oriented advocacy organization via the Internet, according to Joe Trippi (above), widely seen as one of the true innovators when it comes to using the web in politics.

"Obama will be more directly connected to millions of Americans than any president who has come before him, and he will be able to communicate directly to people using the social networking and Web-based tools such as YouTube that his campaign mastered," Trippi said. "Obama's could become the most powerful presidency that we have ever seen."

Check out Trippi's website where he is part of an interesting interview on the Internet and politics.
